8 Books

I'm going on a road trip to Michigan with some friends. It's a 33 hour drive (or so...).

The books that are currently on my reading list? The 8 new books? They're all the ones I'm taking with me.

And 17 movies.

You see, I can plug my laptop into the cigarette lighter in the car, so we can watch movies on my laptop.

So if I get bored, it's my own fault.

Oh, I'm going with 3 other people. So I really shouldn't be bored.

Definitions

CF: Christian Fiction
Fiction: A story that is not true.
Funny: Humerous. Usually laugh-out-loud funny.
Good: Pleasurable. Not amazing, but better than okay.
Literature: Books that are (generally) accepted in most circles as a book that can (and will) continue to stand the test of time.
Mystery: A book with a puzzle to solve
Nonfiction: A book that is true. An autobiography, cookbook, etc...
Quick: A book that reads quickly. There is (usually) not much meat to it, nor a deeper, underlying meaning.
Reference: A book that is generally only used to find out specific bits of information. I.E. Bartlby's Quatations, or the encyclopedia.
Romance: A book where the romantic angle is integral to the story
RomCom: Romantic Comedy (usually in movies, but can apply to books too)
Sci-Fi: Science Fiction. A story that is outside the realm of possibility, usually because of facts generally accepted by the science community.
Summer Read: The kind of book that is likely to be seen at the beach. You know, the mass-market paperback kind.
YA: Young adult. The story line and/or characters in a book are later teenagers, or appeal to later teenagers, usually both.
